Laboratory Description
Our laboratory is composed of three teams: the Nuclear Engineering, High Energy and Modeling team; the Materials, Semiconductors and Spintronics team; and the Advanced Materials, Nanomaterials and Applications team. More than thirty teacher-researchers from Ibn Tofaïl University are part of the Laboratory, along with about twenty associate members. Our laboratory has a wide range of research equipment and includes more than 150 PhD students.
🎯
Research Axes
- The laboratory focuses on the research and advanced characterization of materials and nanomaterials, including semiconductors and low-dimensional materials, with various applications such as photovoltaics and nuclear systems.
- It also studies the electrical, magnetic, and dielectric properties of materials, as well as related analysis and characterization techniques.
- In parallel, the laboratory is involved in nuclear safety and security, as well as theoretical high-energy physics.
- Finally, it explores interdisciplinary fields such as medical physics, educational environments, and education sciences.
