The National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST) has launched an ambitious project aimed at combating plagiarism in the field of scientific research in Morocco. The objectives of this project are twofold: to prevent plagiarism and improve the quality of scientific production, primarily targeting lecturer-researchers at all Moroccan public universities, as well as doctoral students from the second year onwards.

This successful collaboration has enabled Ibn Tofail University and other academic institutions in Morocco to strengthen their plagiarism prevention arsenal through the use of the iThenticate solution. This anti-plagiarism platform, entirely web-based, eliminates the need for complex hardware or software installations. It is accessible online, which greatly simplifies its use.

iThenticate offers the ability to instantly compare the content of a document with a multitude of other documents from various sources such as the Internet and databases. This technology thus helps ensure academic integrity while promoting the quality of scientific production in Morocco.
